– F\u00f6rst visste ingen vad det var f\u00f6r fel p\u00e5 mig, och jag b\u00f6rjade redan fantisera om att jag inbillade mig, f\u00f6rklarar hon. Jag hade v\u00e4ldigt sv\u00e5rt att st\u00e5 p\u00e5 morgonen och mina f\u00f6tter v\u00e4rkte fruktansv\u00e4rt. Sedan b\u00f6rjade ocks\u00e5 mina axlar v\u00e4rka. Ibland fanns sm\u00e4rtan i mina h\u00f6fter. Detta \u00e4r typiskt f\u00f6r fibromyalgi. Symptomen verkar byta plats. Till slut fick jag diagnosen fibromyalgi, och sedan b\u00f6rjade s\u00f6kandet efter l\u00e4mpliga v\u00e4rktabletter. Vid ett tillf\u00e4lle rekommenderade l\u00e4karna \u00e4ven antidepressiva medel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Beroende p\u00e5 fibromyalgin hade jag varit sjukskriven i tre m\u00e5nader i f\u00f6ljd. Jag s\u00e4ndes ocks\u00e5 p\u00e5 fysisk rehabilitering ett antal g\u00e5nger och jag gick hela tiden i fysioterapi. De behandlingarna hj\u00e4lpte en kort tid. Sedan st\u00f6tte jag p\u00e5 Hannu Timonen p\u00e5 en h\u00e4lsom\u00e4ssa och han lovar i sin broschyr att han kan bota fibromyalgi, liksom andra besv\u00e4r. Han framtr\u00e4dde ocks\u00e5 inf\u00f6r en lokal reumaf\u00f6rening. Han hade tagit med sig en patient som blivit botad fr\u00e5n fibromyalgi och som ber\u00e4ttade f\u00f6r oss om hur underbart det var att sova utan att k\u00e4nna sm\u00e4rta. Timonen gjorde intryck p\u00e5 mig som terapeut och d\u00e4rf\u00f6r kom vi \u00f6verens om jag skulle bes\u00f6ka honom, d\u00e5 f\u00f6r tv\u00e5 \u00e5r sedan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Timonen ber vanligen om feedback fr\u00e5n sina patienter efter behandlingen. Jag k\u00e4nde det som om mitt tillst\u00e5nd efter den f\u00f6rsta sessionen kunde bed\u00f6mas som sju p\u00e5 en skala till tio. K\u00e4nslan efter den andra behandlingen var \u00e5tta och efter den tredje behandlingen kunde jag g\u00e5 med p\u00e5 en full tia. Nu k\u00e4nner jag mig helt bra, avslutar Vuokko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inga fler v\u00e4rktabletter<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Den f\u00f6rsta behandlingssessionen var riktigt sm\u00e4rtsam, eftersom jag var helt blockerad, men den tredje behandlingsomg\u00e5ngen b\u00f6rjade k\u00e4nnas behaglig. Behandlingen best\u00e5r av arm-, axel- och ryggmassage, och manuell behandling av ryggraden ingick. Det fanns tv\u00e5 sv\u00e5ra l\u00e5sningar i ryggraden. Det k\u00e4ndes som om jag var helt l\u00e5st. Jag kunde h\u00f6ra hur det knakade och kn\u00e4ckte n\u00e4r Timonen behandlade mig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Som jag tidigare n\u00e4mnt \u00e4r jag nu i fin form och jag njuter av varje \u00f6gonblick i mitt liv. Inga v\u00e4rktabletter beh\u00f6vs heller. Jag tycker att jag har f\u00e5tt min andel av dem i vilket fall som helst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Timonen gav mig instruktioner om hur jag skulle str\u00e4cka mig, som han brukar g\u00f6ra. N\u00e4r jag sitter framf\u00f6r televisionen p\u00e5 kv\u00e4llarna str\u00e4cker jag p\u00e5 armar och nacke och f\u00f6ljer instruktionerna. Jag skulle vilja ber\u00e4tta f\u00f6r alla som lider av fibromyalgi att det \u00e4r v\u00e4rt att pr\u00f6va p\u00e5 alternativa behandlingsformer i st\u00e4llet f\u00f6r v\u00e4rktabletter.
